d:mic/fac is back August 13-16, 2015. Over two dozen artists will be presented at the Betty Oliphant Theatre in Toronto in three different programs: Mainstage, What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) and Arts Encounters.


The d:mic/fac MainStage Series consists of three different series totalling seven unique Canadian dance works by an exceptional list of contemporary artists including Ryan Cunningham / Troy Emery Twigg (Calgary)Fila 13 Productions / Lina Cruz (Montreal)Marie France Forcier (Toronto), Kate Hilliard (Toronto)Jacob Niedzwiecki (Toronto)Andrew Tay / Wants&Needs danse (Montreal)  and Throwdown Collective (Toronto)

Peggy Baker's August Intensive


August 10 – 14, 2015 | Canada’s National Ballet School, 400 Jarvis Street


Peggy Baker Dance Projects returns with a progressive curriculum for its August 2015 Intensive. Led by master teachers, this workshop is designed for professional dancers and pre-professional dance students enrolled in full-time dance training programs. Participants can choose between two distinct streams: Repertory or Body & Breath; or devise their own training schedule, comprised of whole course and/or single classes registration; or drop-in. This intensive is designed to move each dancer forward in their physical and creative practice.

ProArteDanza's Summer Intensive Program


The 7th edition of ProArteDanza’s one-of-a-kind Summer Intensive Program (SIP) is an opportunity to transform your dancing and jumpstart your career!
 
If you are reading this you probably know something about ProArteDanza's reputation as a hard-edged contemporary ballet company with a huge passion for performance, a drive for excellence, a love for rich collaborations, and an eye for talent. ProArteDanza's Summer Intensive Program gives pre-professional dancers all the ingredients for serious professional development and advancement.
 
YOU: a dancer driven, talented and hungry to work in the studio and on the stage.
 
US: a dedicated team of international professional dance artists ready to give you an experience to take you to the next level. We offer high level technical training, intense conditioning, and dynamic choreography. 
 
THE PROGRAM: 8 hours of putting your passion out there 5.5 days per week for 4 weeks of full out sweat and inspiration. August 3-29, 2015. The final performances are at the Winchester Street Theatre, August 28-29, 2015.
