Please take 5 minutes to complete their survey by July 29, www.surveymonkey.com/s/crowscollaborating More information about the survey and this process can be found here, or feel free to contact Independent Consultant, Evelyn Tauben directly at info@evelyntauben.com Remaking History with Susie Burpee at the Volcano Conservatory July 21- 22, 2014 / 2:00pm - 5:00pm Pia Bouman School for Ballet & Creative Movement Susie Burpee works in contemporary theatre and dance, calling upon memory and the meeting of chance and craft in order to create. This workshop was borne out of her Dora-winning work Road Trip (with Linnea Swan), which reinvented a shared, intimate history of artistic partnership. This is a workshop for makers and interpreters of theatre and dance. It is about using our real histories to invent new narratives. We will work as a group, in pairs, and solo. We will leave the door open for the dark, the light, and the absurd. We will be on our feet - warming, moving, making, and watching - from the minute we walk in the door until the bell rings. Email natasha@volcano.ca to reserve your spot, or visit volcano.ca for more info on other workshops at the Conservatory. 2014 d:mic/fac presents: Light and Shadow A platform for dialogue between Light and Choreography. Lighting Designer, Arun Srinivasan will facilitate two evening workshops for professional dance artists that focuses on lighting design for contemporary dance. For more, read here.
